Rightmove Claims it’s the busiest New Year ever!

Rightmove along with some of the other property portals has recorded the busiest ever start to the new year.

Rightmove along with some of the other property portals has recorded the busiest ever start to the new year. With visits to Rightmove alone up 30% on this time last year.

This has led to 11% increase in the level of enquiries to buy and an increase of 22% of enquiries for properties to rent.

Andrew Bradford commented, “January always is a busy month for activity but from our own experience we have certainly seen a good level of viewings and valuations booked in the first 7 days back. Whilst we have gone into a third national lockdown, we have been able to show we can still operate in a COVID-19 secure way and has been reassuring to see the current levels of demand. A lot of our properties do have videos and people are often viewing these first before committing to a physical viewing”.
