Fri 13 - 29th March
Quiz of Quizzes organised by the Rotary of Harpenden, supper included. All proceeds go to charities supported by the Rotary. Regularly a sell out – to secure a place, contact Claire by email at qofq@rih.org.uk
Wed 1 April
Seniors’ Fair at the Eric Morcambe Centre 10.30 am -1 pm – offering a range of support, health, medical and welfare services. The Harpenden Museum will be open. Free entry, refreshments, and cake available
15 March
Sustainability Market, 10-3 pm - a wide range of eco and food stalls, greener gifts, sustainable self care, vegan food, electric and recycled bikes. Harpenden Common
Sat 25 April
Walking Tour of Harpenden – gravestone of the world famous artist, stand at the entrance to the air raid shelter, hear about cheeky goings on at the old cinema, before ending up at the world famous research establishment. Meet at the War Memorial 2.30 pm
Saturday 26 April and Tuesday 28 April
‘Come and Try’ days at Harpenden Bowling Club. All you need are flat-soled trainers. The Bowling Club is in Spenser Road, AL5 5NN
